Multi-night and Long Stay Rates at Eddrachilles Hotel

Why many guests choose longer stays

Many guests choose to stay three or more nights using Eddrachilles as a peaceful base for exploring Assynt and the wider North West Highlands.

At Eddrachilles, we believe the way we recognise loyalty should be simple, fair, and genuinely rewarding for guests who choose to spend time with us.

When we opened in 2016, we introduced a loyalty discount under which returning guests received up to 10% off accommodation based on the number of previous stays. Over time, changes in booking patterns — including the use of multiple email addresses, third-party booking channels, and the rise in short overnight visits linked to the North Coast 500 — made this system increasingly difficult to operate and less aligned with the longer, more relaxed stays we encourage.

For this reason, the original loyalty discount scheme closed in November 2025.

How Our Loyalty Approach Works

From the 2026 season onwards, loyalty is rewarded through our pricing structure itself, with immediate benefits for guests staying longer.

  • Multi-night rates apply to stays of 2–4 nights

  • Long-stay discounted rates apply to stays of 5 nights or more

These rates are available when booking directly with us.

Existing qualifying 2026 bookings were automatically moved to the new long-stay rate.

Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Value

For most guests, the best overall value comes through our Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rates, designed for multi-night stays and when sharing a room.

Single-occupancy room rates remain available, now also with long-stay discounts. Dinner can be added separately.

Benefits of Booking Direct

Our multi-night and long-stay discounts are not available on online travel agencies.
Booking direct allows access to these rates, along with more personalised service and greater flexibility wherever possible.

Stay in Touch

We will be launching a guest newsletter in April 2026, sharing seasonal news and occasional early access to selected offers.

FAQs

  • From the 2026 season, loyalty is rewarded through our multi-night and long-stay rates, rather than through accumulated discounts based on the number of previous visits.

This allows guests to benefit from reduced rates immediately when choosing to stay longer.

  • What discounts apply to longer stays?

    • Stays of 2–4 nights benefit from our multi-night discounted rate

    • Stays of 5 nights or more benefit from our long-stay discounted rate

  • Over recent years, booking patterns have changed significantly. Guests increasingly book using different email addresses or through travel agents and third-party platforms, making it more difficult to link previous visits.

At the same time, the growth in short overnight stays associated with the North Coast 500 meant the previous scheme often rewarded frequent short visits rather than the longer, more relaxed stays that many of our guests prefer.

Our new approach reflects how guests now travel — and allows us to offer better value for unhurried stays.

  • For most guests, our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate offers the best overall value, particularly for multi-night stays and when sharing a room.

  • No. Our multi-night and long-stay discounted rates are available only when booking directly with us.
