The Glebe Kitchen Dinner menu

During Eddrachilles Hotel’s season (April-October), The Glebe Kitchen restaurant welcomes both the resident guests of Eddrachilles Hotel and external guests. We do, however, recommend booking your table as soon as practical.

Our frequently changing seasonal dinner menu offers a choice of starters, six main courses (meat, seafood, vegetarian, steak with supplement), and five desserts plus a Highland cheese plate (no additional charge). Dinner is served as two or three courses, with homemade bread & butter and coffee with fudge included.

The total cost compares favourably with the equivalent end-to-end choices from a la carte restaurants of similar quality in this area.

Our full dinner menu changes at least twice a week and some individual dishes are changed or modified daily. The dishes on the menu broadly keep the local rhythm of the harvest at sea and on land.

Plenty of choice for hotel guests staying on our best-for-value, multi-night Dinner Bed and Breakfast deal while offering an indulgent, delicious range of dishes for those booking dinner only.

  • As a small hotel, we do not have facilities to offer bar meals alongside our restaurant dining. We can, however, advise on other options in the area (from 10 minutes drive to 50 mins).

  • During the hotel’s open season, The Glebe Kitchen Restaurant offers Dinner every evening. On Sundays we have dinner service as usual but we add in a Sunday roast option to the six main course options

  • No. During the pandemic we briefly required advance meal ordering, but that hasn't been necessary since 2021.

Our dmenu is available to peruse from early afternoon each day. Many guests browse it over our complimentary afternoon tea service (4-5 pm), though this is entirely your preference. We ask that orders are placed about 15 minutes before your sitting time - the perfect moment to settle in with a drink.

Each evening we serve a fixed-price two- or three-course menu with choice of six starters, six main courses (including meat, seafood, vegetarian, and Scotch Beef steak with supplement), and six desserts including Highland cheese. The menu changes at least twice weekly, so guests staying several nights experience variety and balance without repetition.

If you have complex dietary requirements, letting us know in advance helps the kitchen plan, though we can usually accommodate most needs with same-day notice.
