As a small hotel, we do not have facilities to offer bar meals alongside our restaurant dining. We can, however, advise on other options in the area (from 10 minutes drive to 50 mins).

During the hotel’s open season, The Glebe Kitchen Restaurant offers Dinner every evening. On Sundays we have dinner service as usual but we add in a Sunday roast option to the six main course options

No. During the pandemic we briefly required advance meal ordering, but that hasn't been necessary since 2021.

Our menu is available to peruse from early afternoon each day. Many guests browse it over our complimentary afternoon tea service (4-5 pm), though this is entirely your preference. If you wish to consult it online, it is published on this page and in Stories of our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram).

We ask that orders are placed about 15 minutes before your sitting time - the perfect moment to settle in with a drink.

Each evening we serve a fixed-price two- or three-course menu with choice of six starters, six main courses (including meat, seafood, vegetarian, and Scotch Beef steak with supplement), and six desserts including Highland cheese. During July and August we offer our Highland Supper, the main course only version

The menu changes at least twice weekly, so guests staying several nights experience variety and balance without repetition.

If you have complex dietary requirements, letting us know in advance helps the kitchen plan, though we can usually accommodate most needs with same-day notice.

Yes, our Highland supper comprises:

• Seasonal main course per person

• Homemade bread rolls and bannock with whipped butter

• Tea or Coffee with Eddrachilles Fudge

The Highland Supper is available in July and August and on other evenings such to availability. It is priced at £35 per person and any supplements are payable in addition. Parish Discount may be applied to those eligible.

We will happily supply an extra fork or spoon for a starter or a main course but we don’t ask our chefs to plate dishes over 2 separate for sharing.

We can also recommend alternative venues within reasonable driving distances for lighter or casual dinning experiencees.

We don’t have a set children’s menu but restaurant guests under the age of 12 are welcome to order from a selection of family favourites which the chef will prepare just for you. Please let us know in advance if your child is a particularly discerning guest and we will do our best to make sure one of their favourites is on offer. As there is such a tailoring, we price children’s meals individually.

Of course, many children do happily tuck into our full menu, and please do not hesitate to request a change of accompaniment to suit their palate.
