Dinner at Eddrachilles is shaped by the landscape around us and the spirit of the old manse. The Glebe Kitchen offers relaxed-refined Highland cooking — thoughtful, seasonal dishes prepared in the former manse kitchen and dairy room, using fresh ingredients and classical technique.

In the Heart of the Old Manse

The Glebe Kitchen sits in the former manse kitchen and the adjacent dairy room — thick stone walls, old flagstones now levelled for comfort, and the quiet warmth of a space where Highland hospitality has been practised for generations. While our restaurant does not face the sea, the long northern summer evenings often bring soft light from the northwest.

The Calm Rhythm: Our Three Sittings for Dinner

We offer three sittings — 6pm, 7pm and 8pm — to help us prepare every dish at the right moment. In our small manse kitchen, working with fresh ingredients and no separate “stations,” this simple rhythm ensures the calm, focused service that defines dinner at Eddrachilles.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive on time for their chosen sitting. If a delay is unavoidable, we may need to move your reservation to the next sitting so every guest’s food is cooked as it should be.

A Seasonal Fixed Price Menu

Each evening we serve a two- or three-course menu at a fixed price, with homemade bread and butter to begin and coffee with fudge included at the end.

The menu offers a choice of starters, six main courses (including meat, seafood, a vegetarian dish and a Scotch Beef steak option with a supplement), and desserts including a Highland cheese plate.

Our aim is simple: balance, taste, and the kind of relaxed-refined cooking you can enjoy several nights in a row

Dietary Requirements

As our chefs prepare all dishes from fresh ingredients, we are well placed to adapt many dishes for guests with dietary requirements.

Please let us know when booking if you have dietary needs so we can plan ahead — especially as deliveries to this remote location can take additional time.

Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options are available most evenings.

Children Welcome at The Glebe Kitchen

Although Eddrachilles only accepts accommodation bookings from those 12 years or more, children under 12 are welcome at The Glebe Kitchen. While we do not offer a separate children’s menu, Chef is very happy to prepare a simple favourite for younger guests — we will discuss this with you when you arrive or call to discuss in advance if you prefer.. High chairs and changing facilities are available.

Dog-Friendly Dining

We have a dedicated dog-friendly area within the restaurant (the former manse kitchen). If you are dining with your dog, please select the dog friendly option when booking online. Or let us know when calling to book so we can seat you comfortably.
